International cardmaking day, #1

Fun in the sun

I've made a card for at beautiful young lady in happy summer colors.

My card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge "Fun in the Sun" looks like this:

Happy summer colors

I've made a card in a happy summer look. The colors make me happy, and I hope our daughter will be happy too, when she receives it.

I used these materials:

• ferriswheel stamp and die from Lawn Fawn
• background grid - die from Joy
• "You" die from Simon Says Stamp
• background die from My Favorite Things
• text stamp from My Favorite Things
• Tim Holtz distress ink

The card participates in these challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Brigth And Cheerful

Dies R Us - Sommertime Fun

Shaker card

I needed at card for my daughter, so why not use the opportunity to follow the rules to participate in the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp, where the theme is "Frame it".

I have used a Mama Elephant die for the frame and two sweet Lawn Fawn elephants and shiny sequins inside the frame.

Clouds and balloons in bright colors

So many of the young people in my family has birthday in June and July, so I have to a find time for crafting. And I love it :-)

The balloons are stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn (old ones), and the "Celebrate" word i a die from MFT Die-Namics. The sky with the clouds is made with a piece of paper, which I cut into the shape of clouds and then used as stencil with my distress.

The card is for the challenges:

Dies R Us - Sunshine og clouds
Simon Says Stamp - All things bright and beautiful

In this wonderful wheather, I am really in the mood for soft colors, and as we are going for a wedding within long time, I enjoyed my afternoon today with a card for our friends.
